A disk is placed in the cavity, which is centered by conical surfaces. When placing a screen with a disc in an envelope, the protrusion of the screen covers the envelope opening, and thus the disc is protected from dust particles and damage. At any orientation of the cassette in space, the disk located between the screen and one of the inner surfaces of the envelope is paired with the latter only parts with an unrecorded area, which saves the disk medium.
